» SYMBOLISM OF EMBLEM

The municipality's emblem represents key elements of the environment, specifically:

The Sun : Sainte-Flavie has particularly beautiful sunsets and sunrises.

The Door Frame symbolizes tourism in Sainte-Flavie: it represents the gateway to the Gaspé Peninsula and the spirit of warm-hearted welcome (open door) that visitors will find there.

The Shells symbolize our geographic location on the river.

The Wave is also a vital, dynamic reference to our coastline as well as the visual element that extends beyond the frame, inviting you to get involved in the total picture.
